Ms. Kim Garland, Speech Language Pathologist

Hello, my name is Kim Garland.

Since 2001, I have had the pleasure of working at KECC as a Speech Language Pathologist.  As a part of the evaluation team, I have the honor of working with other talented clinicians in determining a child’s eligibility for Early Childhood Special Education services.

Within Kirkwood community preschools, I work with teams or individually to provide speech/language services to our students who attend these settings full-time.  Recently, I also began working with Parents as Teachers to assist in re-designing their screenings of children 3-5 years of age.

My passions include service to others, quality time with family, adventure travel, hiking, running and reading.

Ms. Patrice Gouy, Physical Therapist

Hi. My name is Patrice Gouy and I began working as the Physical Therapist at KECC in January 2019. I graduated from St. Louis University (a long time ago) in 1992. I grew up in a suburb of Chicago where I started my career as a PT, and still travel back often to visit family.

Currently, I live in Edwardsville, IL with my husband, Steve, and our daughter, Sara. I thoroughly enjoy watching Sara play volleyball for both her school and club teams.

In my downtime, I also enjoy spending time outside as often as possible; walking/running with our dog, Max; reading; and spending time with family.
