Communications Committee

  • The Board Appointment Kirkwood School District Communications Committee was created to assist the Community Relations and Development Office in reviewing communication strategies and initiatives that build support for our schools. The committee meets four times a year to meet and discuss "hot topics," communication modes and platforms, etc. The Communication Committee provides guidance and advice on fostering dialog on community and school issues. The committee's role is to identify topics of interest to community members and to assist in identifying effective ways (e.g. email, forums, Web, and other media) to communicate.  The communications committee works under the guidance of the board approved communications plan. The plan includes an improved, more efficient system to collect information related to student, school and staff celebrations.
