Mrs. Chenoa Pysar

Hello, my name is Chenoa Pysar and I am new to both Robinson Elementary School and to the St Louis Area.

My family and I moved to Kirkwood August 2020 from Songdo, South Korea. Before that we called North Carolina home. I have two children, Jocelyn and Tristan, who both attend Kirkwood High School. My husband, Travis, and I will celebrate 20 years of marriage this May. He is currently in China working for a biotech company.

For 16 years I was a stay at home mom whose volunteer opportunities allowed me to work with elementary age children and to serve on the boards of  parent-teacher organizations in North Carolina and South Korea. I also freelanced as a personal trainer for clients of all ages in both one on one and in small group settings.

Before becoming a stay at home mom, I served in the United State Marine Corps as an enlisted Marine and then as an officer of Marines. I was honorably discharged at the rank of Captain in April of 2012. Being a Marine, I learned to adapt and overcome in any situation.  This has prepared me well for being a teacher assistant, because no days are the same at Robinson and I always have to be ready for anything.

Like I tell others… everyday is an adventure at Robinson!

I graduated from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill with Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a Second Major in Exercise and Sport Science.

When I’m not working at Robinson, I’m quite busy taking care of my family and home. I also enjoy staying physically active. My favorite form of exercise is running. Especially trail running.

I consider each day that I get to be with the students and staff at Robinson a true blessing.
