Course Description
In this course, instructional time focuses on four critical areas: (1) extending understanding of base-ten notation; (2) building fluency with addition and subtraction; (3) using standard units of measure; and (4) describing and analyzing shapes.

- Tell and write time to the nearest 5-minute
- Determine the value of a collection of coins up to $1.00
Module 1: Adding and Subtracting - Becoming Fluent within 20
- Fluently add/subtract to 20 using mental strategies
Module 2: Extending Number Sense - Understands Place Value Part 1
- Count by ones, fives, and tens within 100
- Build, read, write, and compare three-digit numbers based on hundreds, tens, and ones
Module 3: Describe and Analyze Shapes and Fractions
- Recognize and draw shapes based on a set of attributes
Module 4: Adding and Subtracting - Becoming Fluent within 100
- Solve addition and subtraction problems within 100 using a variety of strategies
- Fluently add/subtract to 20 using mental strategies
Module 5: Collecting, Representing and Interpreting Data
- Create an accurate representation of a given set of data using line plots, picture graphs, & bar graphs
Module 6: Estimate and Measure Lengths in Standard Units
- Solve addition and subtraction problems within 100 using a variety of strategies (used in solving problems with length)
