- Dream Big Summer Camp: Dream Big prepares transition-aged youth to be successful, independent adults with disabilities.
- Apprenticeship & Career Pathways Showcase: Families and students in grades 6 through 12 are invited to join us to experience a variety of careers through interactive exhibits and discussion with industry professionals. Exhibitors will include representatives from key career pathways including: Advanced Manufacturing, Construction, Culinary & Hospitality, Healthcare, Information Technology, Public Safety, and Transportation & Logistics.
University & College Programs
- PAWS - University of Missouri Columbia: PAWS (Preparing Adults for Work & Society) is an Inclusive Post Secondary option for students with intellectual disabilities.
- SUCCEED - University of Missouri St. Louis: The UMSL Succeed Program is designed to encourage and facilitate students to gain independence through academics, vocational experiences, and college residential/student life.
- ACHIEVE -Southern Illinois University Carbondale: The ACHIEVE program engages neurodiverse learners with learning disabilities, attention disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and other related academic difficulties.
- SALT - University of Arizona: The SALT Center is a fee-based academic support program that inspires students with mild to moderate learning and attention challenges to succeed in higher education.
Training Programs
- Saint Louis County Workforce Development Training Programs: The St. Louis County Workforce has funding available to pay for High School Seniors to receive paid training in the following fields: Healthcare, Information Technology, Skilled Trades, Logistics/CDL, Bio Science, and Culinary. - Boeing Pre-Employment Training Program: Designed for second semester high school seniors, this Boeing funded program provides employer-specific instruction in aircraft assembly techniques for Assembly Mechanic positions at Boeing. - STLCC Accelerated Job Training: The Workforce Solutions Group develops industry-specific training in partnership with the college’s campuses and local employers to train or retrain for in-demand occupations in shorter duration formats.
