torydowd@gmail.comKSD Now Nutrition on the Weekends is a program that provides monthly boxes of food for students in Kirkwood School District experiencing food insecurity. Nipher is responsible for packing 1 month of the school year, usually the 1st Wednesday of the month 930-11. A school collection of an extra item can be coordinated the month before. ie: taco night kit, cereal boxes, pasta and sauce etc. Kirsten Raeber

(General Fund)Lead the fundraising campaign! Meet with PTO board and Nipher admin to decide what the general fund will fund. Staff Appreciation Shower the Nipher staff with love! Coordinate back to school welcome and breakfast, meals during conferences, staff appreciation week, and monthly/bimonthly surprises. Complete and distribute staff favorites spreadsheet for parents. Spiritwear Coordinate the sale and distribution of spiritwear through mobile sales and at school events. VIP Breakfast Students invite 1 VIP to school to have breakfast and watch a performance from the Fine Arts Department. 6th grade - fall, 7th/8th grade - spring. Breakfast typically includes Starbucks coffee, Krispy Kreme donuts, bananas, yogurt, water (from Sams - ordered online through Nipher Sams account) 6th Grade - Lydia Gwin

This includes decorations, photobooths, food and drink, games, and DJ. 8th Grade Celebration Work in conjunction with Nipher staff to throw a family celebration for the 8th graders. This event has traditionally been separate from the 8th grade graduation. Student Appreciation Celebrate our students! Coordinate a student give away each quarter. Past giveaways have included stickers for waterbottles and food treats.
