TIM SCHULZEJoin us on Thanksgiving Eve, Wednesday, November 22rd, 2023 in the KHS Cafeteria and Walker Commons for KSDF's 27th Annual Chili Bowl!
Doors open at 5 pm and tickets are sold in 30 minute time slots. The Turkey Day Pep Rally starts afterwards at 7 p.m. in the David Holley Assembly Hall.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for students K-12. Your ticket includes a chili sample from each participating restaurant, hot dog, drink, & ice cream. Sample chili from local restaurants and vote on your favorites.
All attendees will need to arrive through the Essex entrance at 801 W. Essex. Parking will be available on Essex with overflow parking at the Dougherty Ferry lot. Those parking on Dougherty Ferry can enter through the Welcome Center (800 Dougherty Ferry Rd.) then proceed outside. Travel down the sidewalk to the other end of the building to then enter off of the Essex lot.
We are thankful for this year's restaurants competing with their donated chili, including:

Special Thanks to these local businesses for their generous donations: Andy's Frozen Custard, Chartwells, Hannekes Westwood Grocery, Oberweis, and Raising Cane's.
Here is a rundown of the event:
- Tickets will be sold in 30-minute increments with designated time slots.
- There will be four time slots to choose from between 5PM-7PM.
- Wristbands will be given to you at the event upon check in.
- You will be given a tray for your chili samples, which will be handed out in cups.
- The cafeteria will be set up with a one-way flow pattern leading back to tables.
- Tables for eating will be set up throughout the indoor and outdoor common areas; feel free to bring your own lawn chairs if weather allows.
- WE NEED ADULT VOLUNTEERS TO MAKE THIS RUN SMOOTHLY. (Student volunteer signups will occur separately via school signups). Sign up to volunteer at Chili Bowl here.
