• Staff Opening Day


    Every Student Engaged, Empowered and Ready for Success

    With a rainy Tuesday in the forecast, we are implementing our inclement weather plan, and moving INSIDE to Keating Theater.

     

    The rest of the opening day logistics remain the same:

    Join us at 7:30 a.m for water, light refreshments, & collegial conversations. Please bring your own water bottles. Opening Day program begins at 8 a.m.

    • Refreshments start at 7:30 a.m. The Opening Day program begins at 8 a.m.

    • Attendees are encouraged to dress casually. Please wear spirit gear.

    • Please bring a water bottle. We will have water filling stations and light refreshments available beginning at 7:30 a.m.

    • You are welcomed and encouraged to bring non-perishable food items, personal items, and household items for KirkCare. We are also collecting school supplies. Please drop off at collection bins in the main entrance.

    • Show your district issued ID at the time of sale from the school store will receive a 10% discount. The school store will be open at the conclusion of the ceremony.

    • Prop R construction is underway at KHS! For those parking on the Dougherty Ferry lot, the space will look quite different. To get to E.L. Lyons Memorial Stadium, please walk around the building. Look for the paved walkway (fire lane) to the right of the building. The baseball field will be on your left. Please see map below. Follow blue arrowed route.

    • ADA parking spots are available on the Chopin lot.

    • Due to limited parking, carpooling is encouraged.
