Kirkwood School District Board of Education Approves Hire of New Girls Soccer Coach at Kirkwood High School
At the regularly scheduled Kirkwood School District Board of Education meeting on Monday, June 27, the BOE approved the recommendation of the appointment of Jordan Sabotic as the next girls head soccer coach at Kirkwood High School. Sabotic will succeed Coach Phil Cotta, who recently resigned to spend more time with family. Coach Cotta will remain as a teacher at Kirkwood High School.
Most recently, Sabotic has served as an assistant coach with the girls’ soccer program at Kirkwood High School. Sabotic has a total of 15 years of experience coaching soccer at all levels, which include the freshman, JV, and varsity levels. Sabotic currently holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Masters’ degree in Secondary Administration. Sabotic has been a part of the KHS community the last 7 years serving as the Department Chair for the Engineering and Technology department and a teacher.
