Groundbreaking ceremony for construction at Kirkwood High School Middle School

The Kirkwood School District will officially break ground on construction work at Kirkwood High School at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 8.

At Kirkwood High School, construction will result in 15 new classrooms, enclosed connection corridors to increase safety and security along with a new main office and a new security office.

This project is one of several made possible thanks to the community’s support of Prop R, which was approved by voters Spring 2021. Funds generated from Prop R will provide additional classrooms, security upgrades and accessibility improvements at all schools in the Kirkwood School District.
